A large Canadian financial services firm specializing in mutual funds and ETFs sought to revamp its Careers website. With over 1,400 employees, the company recognized the importance of attracting top talent, but their outdated and cumbersome website was hindering their recruitment efforts.

The Careers website received 27K visits in the first 6 months after launch.
To understand what mattered most to potential hires, six new employees were interviewed about their experience with the company’s application process. These insights revealed that many applicants valued the company’s awards and recognition, leading to a design decision to prominently feature these achievements.
The updated website included intuitive navigation and a call to action to browse open job postings on every page. The imagery, colours, typography and style aligned with their new brand guidelines.
